Brittnay Therese Dawson is a creative director, producer, and filmmaker with more than 20 years of experience in the media industry. With a professional background in journalism, communications, and psychology, she brings a deep passion for telling emotion-driven stories that inspire.
Brittnay discovered her gift for storytelling as a teenager, purchasing her first video camera to create short films and photography projects. Today, that early passion has evolved into a full media production company helping brands share their stories through podcasts, film, and editorial photography.
As the executive producer and director of the feature documentary Behind the Boom—an official selection of the 2023 Omaha Film Festival—and the newly released Empire documentary, Brittnay has established herself as a filmmaker with a keen eye for compelling narratives
Now based in Fort Lauderdale, she partners with brands across South Florida as a for-hire creative director—helping them elevate their marketing and communication strategies through content and audiovisual storytelling.
